As the International Cricket Media Manager, your objective will be to assist in increasing interest and engagement in cricket, through a range of traditional and emerging media.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be directly accountable for the media management of all international cricket – with an emphasis on the BLACKCAPS. The role will also provide “insight material” to www.blackcaps.co.nz, network-ready footage and produce visual, audio and written material for use on our website.
The successful applicant will have:
• A minimum of five years in sports journalism and, ideally, some experience in broadcast journalism.
• Experience in either international sports media management or public relations.
• An understanding of film and editing.
• Experience managing issues and crisis’ in a high profile organization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven success introducing innovative communications strategies.
• A track record of outstanding stakeholder management.
• Ability to work calmly and quickly in a fast-moving environment.
• Passion about cricket.
• An enthusiastic and positive attitude, and an incredible work ethic.
• Strong media connections.
